Rents fell last year. Did yours?
It could have been lower. We build the case for the next one.

Two neighbors with your floor plan pay $200 less than you do. That is $2,400 a year.
- You pay

- Send by
- your notice deadline
How sure we are. Based on two signed leases in this building — what neighbors actually pay, not an asking price. Nearby listings were a different size, so they could not price this unit.
You get the number to ask for and the email that asks for it, in time to send it before your notice deadline. If your rent turns out to be fair, we say that too.
Renewals at large buildings are often priced by revenue-management software that sees every comparable rent nearby. You get a letter with a number on it. That is the entire negotiation.
- 1
Your biggest bill, on faith.
Half of renters spend 30% or more of their income on housing, and rent is the only bill nobody comparison-shops after signing. Every other big purchase gets checked. This one gets paid.
- 2
The numbers exist. You just can't see them.
Every comparable rent in your building and on your block is known, priced, and updated daily by everyone except you. The renewal arrives with the number already filled in.
- 3
The fees are in there too.
Three out of four renters with a management company report paying junk fees: amenity, technology, convenience, pet. They are in your lease. We pull them out and put them in front of you.

Check it.
See what your neighbors and the market pay, then walk back in with a number of your own and the words to ask for it.
How it works
- 01
Upload or email your lease
Drop it in above, or send it to review@leaseammo.com. We read the fine print: rent, deadlines, fees, and the clauses working against you.
- 02
See your number
Your rent against live listings and against other leases in your building. Then what turnover would cost your landlord.
- 03
Get the words, in time
Reminders on the dates you pick, with your leverage and an email to the landlord ready to send. It reads like a normal renewal note, the kind landlords get every season, not a complaint.
Before you upload
- Is my lease private?
- Yes. We read it, then delete the file within 24 hours; we keep the terms and the text we read so your report and reminders keep working. Your name, unit number, and the document are never shown to anyone. Neighbors see only the rent, the number of bedrooms, and whether the lease is still active, anonymously.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Free for renters.
- I rent a house, not an apartment.
- It works. Your comps come from nearby rentals instead of your building.
- Nobody in my building has shared yet.
- You still get live market comps and the full playbook. Send neighbors the invite link from your report and the building fills in.
- Can I just email it?
- Yes. Send your lease to review@leaseammo.com. We create your account under that address and reply with your report.
